1. This is a photograph of kindergarten. I was three years old.
2. This is a photograph of the 753 Festival. I was 5 years old at the time. I wore my 753 kimono. My father and mother went to the shinto shrine. And I bought 753 candy. It was delicious!
3. This is a photograph of the first day of primary school ceremony. I was 6 years old. I bought a black school bag. I was happy.

4. At the time of my first year of middle school, I began/started Kendo. At school, I went into the Kendo club. Every day, I went to practice. Practice was fun/enjoyable.

5. At the time of my second year of middle school, I began/started guitar. It was difficult/hard.

1. March 3 is the Dolls/Girl’s Festival. This is a photograph of the Doll’s Festival. I was 2 years old.
2. This is a photograph of a festival. This was the first time I went to the festival dance. I wore traditional Japanese clothing. The festival dance was difficult/hard.

3. This is photography of the 753 Festival. I was 3 years old. This is the first time I wore a Kimono. And then, my father and mother went to the shinto shrine. The special candy was delicious.

4. This is a photograph of the last day of kindergarten. In kindergarten, I studied English. I loved English. My friend, Yuka and I took a photograph.

5. This is a photograph of the first day of primary school ceremony. I wore new Western-style clothes. My mother wore a kimono. She was pretty. My new school backpack was heavy. But, I was happy.

I am working on getting the translations and pictures from your text book up on the blog for you. I haven’t forgotten! In the meantime, please continue to translate your vocabulary words into Romaji and English meanings. This will help you so much on your exam.

I’m also working on a Kanji sheet that has all the Kanji you’ll need and nothing else. This will come in handy for your exam.
