We are going to take a visit down memory lane and go back to our fundamentals in Japanese. This means we are going to pause and restudy Hiragana, Katakana, numbers, and basic greetings before we move on.
We are going to also revisit our combination sounds, using MARU and CHON CHON, combination, and long and short sounds.
Next class, you’ll need your notebooks and workbooks so we can practice our basics!

Cultural events in Japan are a major milestone for many Japanese people. Here are some classic holidays celebrated throughout the year! Have you heard of these? How are they different/similar to holidays we celebrate in Australia?
Today, we looked at Hiragana and practiced our vowel sounds, A I U E O. We also practiced saying the TOP rows only A KA SA TA NA HA MA YA RA WA N so we can remember the order of the alphabet.
